Aerith Wind Magic Damage Dealer Build Guide

In this article, we'll craft a build for Aerith as a wind magic damage dealer. I'm aware that she is mainly built as a healer, but with the release of her prism gear set, it is now possible to turn her into a wind mage. Let's see what that looks like.

First, we'll explore a free-to-play build, and then make a few changes here and there to maximize her damage while investing as little as possible. Let's get into it.

Let's start by equipping her with the prism dress and her prism rod. But wait, don't place the prism rod as her primary weapon; put it in the off-hand. The reason for this is that it doesn't provide any magic attack boosts. Instead, we'll place her sun umbrella in the main hand so she can take full advantage of all the magic attack and magical ability potency boost points.

Next, we'll equip her sub-weapons. We'll start with the Mythril Saber for magic attack and ability potency bonuses. For the last two slots, we'll equip the Torn Wings and Lefko Kypseli, both of which are event weapons that can be maxed through overboosting. Here's what her stats will look like:

And these are the bonuses from the build:

It's not that bad for a free-to-play build. We're far from maxing out her magic attack, so there's some room for improvement.

To enhance this build, we'll swap out Lefko with any 24-point magic attack-boosting weapon, such as the Absolute Royal. Additionally, we need to invest in one overboost level for the Sun Umbrella, so we can reach the level 7 threshold for magic attack. Here's what it will look like:

Aerith gains an additional 125 magic attack with this build, and we only needed one duplicate of the Sun Umbrella. You can also consider using weapons like the Wizard Staff, Flame Projector, Jiggy Fam, and Edged Wings to replace the Mythril Saber and Absolute Royal.

Furthermore, you have the option to invest an overboost level on the Prism Rod to increase the wind potency boost to 50%, should you desire. This will also add a few more points to her magic attack.

This concludes the guide on building Aerith as a wind magic damage dealer. I hope you found it useful!
